Turks and Caicos

Crystal clear caribbean blue sea, pristine white sand beaches, secluded private bays, spectracular diving, equisite coral reefs, lush green hillocks, makes Turks and Caicos one of top 10 places to see before you die.The islands of the Turks and Caicos were first populated by Carib Amerindians but, shortly after the slands'discovery on the 12 October 1492 by Christopher Columbus, it was claimed for Spain. The two island groups are in the North Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the Bahamas. The territory is geographically part of the Bahamas, but is politically a separate entity. The Caicos Islands are separated by the Caicos Passage from the closest Bahaman islands, Mayaguana and Great Inagua. The eight main islands and more than 20 smaller islands have a total land area of 616.3 kmē, primarily of low, flat limestone with extensive marshes and mangrove swamps and an astounding 230 miles of beach front.

The Caicos Islands are the larger group, with almost 96 percent of the land area (589.5 kmē) and 82 percent of the population (26,584 out of a total of 32,337 in 2006). The spatial arrangement of the islands around the large Caicos Bank (roughly 3700 kmē) resembles an Atoll, with the six large islands in the west, north and east, and a few tiny reefs and cays in the south.

The property market is experiancing tremendous growth and property values are increasing at a rate of 10-15% yearly. Buyers can view and purchase any property in the MLS system through any agent. Turks and Caicos has no property taxes, no capital gains taxes, no inheritance taxes, and has no income taxes.
