Getting to Bocas del Toro

The town of Bocas Del Toro is easily reached by land, sea or air.

Air Panama operates at least 2 flights per day from Panama City to Bocas Del Toro.

The flight from Panama City’s Albrook Airport to Bocas del Toro is typically 1 hour – some flights stop briefly in Changuinola en route to Bocas.

It is also possible to fly from San Jose, Costa Rica to Bocas del Toro.

Travelling around Bocas del Toro is possible via taxi or water taxis which are common in the region. For example, it is about a 10 minute boat ride from the town of Bocas to Bastimentos.
