The beach strip extends up to the the Sian Ka’an biosphere (Reserva de la Biosfera Sian Ka’an) – a UNESCO World Heritage site spanning half a million hectares with tropical forests, mangroves and barrier reef which are home to dolphins, birds, sea turtles, monkeys and a wide variety of tropical fish.
While its centuries old Mayan ruins may have placed Tulum on the tourism map, it is its New Age vibe which has made it popular with property buyers.

How to Get to Tulum
To get to Tulum you can fly to Cancun International Airport which is the the second largest airport in Mexico.
There are direct flights to Cancun from North, Central and South America, as well as from cities across Mexico.
Tulum is approximately 1.5 hours from the airport.
