Dominical is also the ideal jumping off point to visit the Costa Ballena (Whale Coast) in Uvita which lies to the south of Dominical,

Getting to Dominical

To get to Dominical, fly to Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) just outside San Jose.

There are direct flights to San Jose from the USA, Canada and Europe.

From San Jose you can drive to Dominical.

The journey takes approximately 3 hours.
