Dominica is home to some of the most beautiful untouched places in the world, it is largely covered by lush rainforest and is home toone of the world's -largest boiling lakes. Dominica is said to have 365 waterfalls, one for every day of the year. The volcanic nature of the island and the lack of sandy beaches have made Dominica a popular scuba diving spot. Dominica is home to several protected areas, including Cabrits National Park.The isle of Dominica is one of the youngest islands in the Lesser Antilles. It is a lush island of mountainous rainforests, home to many rare plants, animal and bird species.

The island of Dominica's indigenous Arawak people were expelled and exterminated by Caribs in the 14th century. The Caribs arrived on this island by special boats which they are still making at their own territory on the island. Christopher Columbus arrived on this island on Sunday November 3, 1493. He and his crew members soon left the island after being defeated by the Caribs. In 1627 England also tried and failed to capture Dominica.

Dominica is an island nation and borderless country in the Caribbean Sea in the southern most part of the Leeward Islands. The size of the country is about 289.5 square miles (754 km˛) and The capital is Roseau.

The local currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$2.67 = US$1.00), however US dollars are accepted. Foreign investment is encouraged and welcome.
