According to the latest data released by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR), which manages Cancun International Airport, the total number of passengers rose by 14.5% in March of this year to reach 2.08 million domestic and international visits.

International Passengers Up 10.7%

International passengers comprised 1.56 million of the 2.08 million, indicating a 10.7% rise in international passengers to Cancun.

Surge Follows 9.6% Rise in 2017

The positive figures follow a 9.6% rise in traffic last year, amounting to a total of 5.97 million passengers.
