The Bahamas Tourism Ministry reports visitor arrivals rose by over 30% year on year in October.

In news that bodes very well for tourism and real estate in The Bahamas, international visitor arrivals have reportedly risen by 30% year on year.

Bahamas Tourist Arrivals Up 31.9% Year on Year

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation of The Bahamas, the destination saw a 31.9% increase in tourist arrivals during October of this year compared to the same period of the previous year.

The growth in visitor arrivals this October contrasts sharply with October 2016 which had been impacted by Hurricane Matthew.

Positive Tourism Outlook for 2018

According to the Ministry, the outlook up to January 2018 is very positive.

Bookings from “top source markets” including the USA, Canada, France, the UK and Germany are up by more than 15%.
